Government Behind the Incitement.

A police informant is responsible for much of the more extreme right-wing incitement in recent weeks. The agent provocateur was reportedly behind a recent bumper sticker which offensively invoked Prime Minister Sharon's deceased wife's name to imply that his death was near. The police informant, Maariv reported, resides in Judea and Samaria ("The West Bank"). Enjoying police "protection" because of the information he secretly transmits to them, the agent initiates extreme actions, ostensibly to "entrap" demonstrators. An agent of the General Security Services code-named "Champagne" revealed on Israel Television Channel Two that incident in which Minister Netanyahu was "attacked" was staged for the media. After the performance the reporter sent an SMS message "great job." (How low the government and leftist press can plunge. This reminds me the KGB tactic I had witnessed in Moscow. Shame Sharon! Shame Traitors! You are Discussing, Despicable and Ugly!)

More than 600 people are preparing to move to Gush Katif. A new organization, called Kelah, has been set up to help process the new arrivals.

The Outcry: “No” to Illegal Indignity.

Israeli law states that soldiers must not carry out blatantly illegal orders, and as such, many public figures agree with the call to refuse orders relating to the uprooting of Jews from their homes.  The international community may be receptive to the disengagement plan and the expulsion of Jews, but 10,000 of the Israeli soldiers who are supposed to do the uprooting say they're not. The petition signed by the 10,000 is entitled, "I will not participate in civil war!" and reads as follows:

· I am a proud soldier in the Israel Defense Forces. My mission is to protect the State of Israel and the Nation of Israel against its enemies.

· I am liable to be ordered to expel the residents of Gush Katif and northern Shomron, but I won't be able to.

· I won't be able to, because I am not able to strike my brother and sisters, my own countrymen.

· I won't be able to expel a mother from her home; I won't drag an old woman from her bed; I won't use force against a child.

· I will not agree to take part in civil war, even if I receive an order to this effect.

I recognize my obligation to fulfill the army's orders, but if I am ordered by my commanders to do the above, I will view this as a blatantly illegal order, and as a soldier, I will be prevented by the State's laws and the General Staff's orders to fulfill it.
